Shelley Spud Run

Yesterday Tomm and I ran in the Shelley Spud Run. It was our first official run. We did very well. We made a personal best run at 28:15 for 5K. We ran so fast. It was awesome. I admit I thought there was no way I could keep up the pace. We were passing people left and right for a while. It was amazing. We kept up with the front half of the group. We are both very proud! Also a HUGE thanks to Andrea for coming and supporting us and taking the following pictures! We so appreciated it. It was a great experience and I am glad we have these photos to remember it!

We have come so far this year as I was barely able to run 1 mile without walking (we ran the entire way...no walking!) It was a great finish for all of our hard work! And who knows...maybe next year it will be a 10K!

Finish line...I could see it. I was pushing myself so hard.



Now I just have to decide what to do with our numbers. I want to scrapbook them but I am thinking I am going to put them in a shadowbox type frame so we can see them regularly!
